The Oklahoma Association of Mortgage Professionals is the voice of the mortgage industry representing the interests of Oklahoma mortgage professionals and Oklahoma homebuyers since 1996.

OKAMP members include small business owners, loan originators, account executives, and other industry professionals. OKAMP is committed to promoting the highest degree of professionalism and ethical standards for its members.

In addition to mandating members adhere to a professional code of ethics, OKAMP provides mortgage professionals with education opportunities, and provides rigorous government accountability to recognize the rights of members with the highest levels of professional knowledge and education.

As the leading mortgage trade association in Oklahoma, OKAMP represents the interests of more than 6000 licensed and registered Mortgage Loan Originators, Mortgage Brokers, Mortgage Lenders and Mortgage Processors.

OKAMP’s active advocacy efforts frequently focus on national and state issues. The Association is directly joined with NAMB-The National Association of Mortgage Brokers. NAMB also offers members a host of benefits aimed at increasing productivity and lowering business costs. 

Since mortgage professionals participate in a large number of home loans originations, homebuyers’ interests are also important to OKAMP. The Association supports consumer education and fraud reporting program via the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.  www.ConsumerFinance.gov
